Collectible Sales
Please note new rules for Collectible Sales:
- Numbered tickets will be handed out beginning at 8:00 AM to gain entrance to the collectible sale area at 10:00 AM.
- We wish to maintain an orderly and courteous lineup outside. Please speak to a volunteer if there are any problems.

For information on how to donate collectible items, please contact Kim Cady at the Ladner Thrift Shop on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please call 604-946-1455. We appreciate your support.
Collectible Update:
There is now a "TREASURE CHEST" corner in our furniture side where collectible items will be displayed on a daily basis.
Special Collectible Sales Days will still occur and dates will be posted in the Shop and on our website. Please let our Coordinator, Ellen Johnston, know what you think of these changes or submit in writing other suggestions you may have for changes.
HISTORY OF COLLECTIBLE SALES
One of our original members, Joan High, remembers a sale in Brentwood Mall where Burnaby General Hospital volunteers were trying to raise funds by selling various donated items of household treasures. She brought the news back to another Delta Hospital Thrift Shop volunteer, Joan Knight, who buzzed this idea around in her head.
So began, in 1987, the Delta Hospital Thrift Shop’s first COLLECTIBLE SALE, to be held twice a year. The May 20th sale raised $3,197 and the November 14th sale brought in $4,123.35.
Collectible people enjoy having fun and living the life of yesteryear, like taking tea and wearing hats!
